When God spoke to Moses from the burning bush, as recorded in Exodus, He revealed Himself as yhwh, a puzzling Hebrew word wich means "I am who I am" - usually written today as "Yahweh" or "Jehova."
Throughout the Old Testament, God revealed Himself by various names, each of wich revealed aspects of His character of His relationship to humankind. "God´s Name is meant to bring hope, healing, and happiness." - Jehova-Repheka ("The Lord is healer")
- Jehovah-Nissi ("The Lord is conqueror")
- Jehovah-Shalom ("the Lord is Peace")
